PARNASSUS

Cloris Kuok is an award-winning Mongolian-Chinese writer, artist, and rebellious humanist working at the intersection of humanism, classical traditions, and the emerging architecture of artificial intelligence. Bilingual in English and Chinese, she chronicles Silicon Valley from up close — drawing on a decade inside its galleries, classrooms, startup batches, and corporate offices — and writes from a position that refuses both technocratic optimism and apocalyptic dismissal.

She studied art history at Berkeley, classics at UPenn, sculpture at Yale, classical civilization at Cambridge, and architecture and art history at Columbia. She has worked inside the Forbidden City's exhibition department, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Vincent Price Art Museum, UCCA Beijing, and — by way of necessary reconnaissance — at Palo Alto Networks, Scale Labs, and Vultron AI.

Her ongoing project Parnassus Protocols spans poetry, posters, zines, and visual essays, weaving classical Chinese verse, Greek mythology, code syntax, and contemporary AI critique into a single chronicle of humanism in the age of agents.​
